CERTIFICATION
PAHCOM offers the nation’s only professional medical management certification. examination designed specifically for physician office practices. In order to qualify for the exam, the candidate must be a PAHCOM member and meet experience and education criteria. The following areas are covered on the written exam:

Retention of the certification requires continuous PAHCOM membership and twenty-four hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every two years. Advantages of employing a CMM include the assurance to the practice owner(s) that the practice manager/administrator has achieved a high level of competency in physician practice management, is committed to continuing education to keep abreast of changing health care initiatives, and reflects dedication to both the employer and the profession.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Annual Conferences are conducted for general training, continuing education, networking, and the exchange of new ideas in practice management. Managers meet within their individual specialties, and nationally recognized industry experts communicate in depth information on critical issues affecting physician practice management.
